Crumbl - Pentagon City location is the newest location in the DMV, located on the ground floor of The Milton building and on the same block as Pentagon City Metro, Chick-fil-A, and CostCo.

Job Description:
This is a full-time salaried position reporting directly to the General Manager. You will share responsibility with a second AGM and the GM for all the typical roles of an Assistant General Manager, including hiring, scheduling, and training. Your area of specific responsibility will be planning and managing our dough production, managing ingredients inventories, and ensuring food safety throughout the operation.

Responsibilities:
  • Make final hiring recommendations to General Manager on all overnight production team members
  • Directly manage and mentor the Overnight Production Manager
  • Plan and manage all production schedules within provided guidelines and resource allocations
  • Receive, maintain, and accurately report on all inventory needs, including verification of orders placed by company purchasing manager
  • Oversee production team training and certifications programs in cooperation with corporate trainers
  • Monitor and enforce production staff policy compliance and any resulting discipline
  • Consistently participate in defining, and then maintaining a Culture of Excellence that consistently exceeds customer expectations
  • Monitor and lead in maintaining all Key Performance Indicators related to Production Efficiency and Quality, Waste Control, Inventory Organization, and Food Safety
  • Successfully and consistently collaborate with your Staffing, Quality, and Customer Service AGM to ensure overall store goals and standards are met regardless of specifically documented Areas of Responsibility.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Able to verbally communicate in basic English and Spanish
  • 2+ Years full time bakery, prep kitchen, culinary school, or equivalent experience
  • 1+ Year(s) experience managing 5 or more hourly staff 
  • Able to work within a weekly range of 40-45 hours, in a combination of days, nights, and Saturdays
  • At least 18 years old (required to operate some of our kitchen equipment)
  • ServeSafe preferred, but must have (or equivalent) within 30 days of start
  • Must have smartphone / tablet and able to use for required apps
  • Must be comfortable working with basic spreadsheets and use of simple functions
  • Solid grasp of math and analytical problem solving (Six Sigma Yellow Belt a PLUS)  
  • Able to comfortably lift 50lbs and climb ladders
  • Reliable Transportation (we are less than 1 block from Pentagon City Metro) 
  • Valid driver's license
  • Able to pass background check and illegal drug screening
  • Ability to attend online meetings and communicate during reasonable hours when not at store
