To bring friends and families together over a box of the best desserts in the world.

About Us:
Crumbl is the nation's largest gourmet dessert company, with over 1,000 stores in the United States and Canada and growing despite only opening our first store in 2017. We rotate our menu of 8 or more cookies, cakes, and pies EVERY week, giving our customers many reasons to always try something new. Our “Open Bakery” concept gives customers a front row seat as we prepare their box of the world’s best desserts from scratch!

Crumbl - Pentagon City location is the newest location in the DMV, located on the ground floor of The Milton building and on the same block as Pentagon City Metro, Chick-fil-A, and CostCo..

Why Work for Crumbl:
Crumbl is NEVER boring, and we’ll teach you to bake if you don’t already know! We strive to make every visit a memorable moment for each customer. We offer many different roles and schedules to support the different career stages of our team members. Our goal is always to promote from within, and we believe strongly in supporting our employee’s efforts to grow and advance and earn more. Our training program builds in a set of guaranteed raises, and our tips are shared across all staff working to serve our customers during store hours. We also offer monthly incentive programs that reward great attendance and teamwork towards meeting overall key store performance goals. And for active high school and college students, we offer a “We Pay for A’s” bonus program, as well as $100 bonuses for successfully referring new employees.

This is also a new store opening, so if hired prior to our opening week in mid to late January, you’ll gain the benefit of going through corporate training prior to opening to the public.

Position Description:

The Baker Position offers a variety of opportunities to thrive in more than one area of focus. All bakers learn how to ball dough, decorate desserts, and fill orders for our amazing customers. We’re also a team, so everyone pitches in where needed for cleaning tasks, refilling ingredients, and taking customer orders. Bakers 18 years old or more can learn to mix dough, operate ovens, and move into leadership roles quickly. We have formal training programs that provide specific hourly raises upon successful completion.

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • At least 16 years old (hours limited by VA law until 18)
  • Availability to work weekday evenings and at least two Saturdays per month (we're closed Sundays)
  • Completion of Basic Food Handlers certificate prior to start date (short online course for under $10)
  • Must have smartphone / tablet and able to use for required apps and weekly menu training
  • No previous bakery experience necessary
*Hourly Wages Advertised Include Shift Differentials and a Guarantee Tip Minimum:

This role includes TIP SHARING as part of the advertised hourly pay, with a MINIMUM of $3.00 added to your base hourly rate per shift worked. This means if the total pooled tips for eligible shifts does not add up to $3.00 per hour, then we will make up the difference. Tip sharing is NOT capped, so if the store collects more tips than the minimum, that portion will be shared according to policy.

U.S. Equal Opportunity Employment Information (Completion is voluntary)

We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.

You are being given the opportunity to provide the following information in order to help us comply with federal and state Equal Employment Opportunity/Affirmative Action record keeping, reporting, and other legal requirements.

Completion of the form is entirely voluntary. Whatever your decision, it will not be considered in the hiring process or thereafter. Any information that you do provide will be recorded and maintained in a confidential file.

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 4/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
