Part-Time Evenings and Weekends Baker Position Description:
We have plenty to do all the time, so finding the best fit initially for your personality and skills is Step One. Next, we will work with you to develop more skills and take on more responsibilities over time. Initially our newly hired Bakers be trained to:
  • “Ball” cookie dough for baking
  • Decorate cookies for sale
  • Prepare orders and present to customers
  • Operate the Point of Sale system and engage with customer
  • Perform many other general tasks like folding boxes, cleaning, and taking inventory as needed
As your level of comfort increases, you'll be exposed to additional skills as you feel comfortable, which adds the opportunity to earn pre-defined raises for each of the following certification programs we offer :
  • Ovens (18+ years old only)
  • Mixing (18+ years old only)
  • Customer Service
  • Ticketing
  • Preparation
  • Cleaning
Once all the above certifications are obtained, you'll be eligible for promotion to a Shift Lead. Our goal is always to promote from within.

Minimum Job Requirements:
  • At least 16 years old (hours limited by PA law until 18)
  • Availability to work until 10:30 pm Mon-Thu and 12:30 Fri-Sat
  • Availability of at least two (2) weekend shifts per month
  • Work permit from your school if under 18
  • Food Handlers Permit within 1 week of hire
*Includes Guarantee Tip Minimum:
  • This role includes TIP SHARING, with a guarantee of at least $3.00 per hour on top of your base hourly pay rate. (Tip sharing = All tips collected are even distributed among hourly workers based total non-training hours worked in-store each week. If that total does not equal at least $3.00/ hr, we make up the difference in hourly base pay for the week). 
  • Tip sharing is NOT capped, so when they go over $3.00 per hour, you earn that too
  • The minimum guaranteed tip amount is subject to change every calendar quarter
Shift Options:
  • Monday - Thursday 3 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. -and- Friday - Saturday 5 p.m. - midnight. We are closed Sundays!
  • Closing shifts can take up to 1 hour after closing times for end-of-night / closing tasks 
  • Flexible scheduling is offered where we match your schedule to your pre-communicated availability
  • You MUST have at least 20 hours available per week, including at least 2 weekend shifts per month
